Internal Investigation Coordinator & Supervisor

One Acre Fund is recruiting two investigative professionals to safeguard its Tanzania operations across fraud prevention, supply chain security, and organisational integrity. The Internal Investigation Coordinator (Level 5) and Internal Investigation Senior Supervisor (Level 4) positions share core responsibilities including conducting independent field investigations into suspected fraud, theft, inventory stock leakages, and policy non-compliance across rural retail, tree, and warehouse business units. Both roles require gathering physical and digital evidence, conducting witness and subject interviews, preparing chronological event logs on Kissflow, and producing comprehensive investigation reports with actionable recommendations. The Coordinator will lead complex high-value fraud cases, coordinate directly with external counsel, represent the organisation at CMA (Commission for Mediation and Arbitration) sessions, and line-manage the Senior Supervisor.

The Senior Supervisor will focus on routine field-based investigations, minor-to-moderate fraud checks, and evidence gathering to support broader cases led by the Coordinator. Candidates must hold a Bachelor\u2019s degree in Law, Business Administration, or a related field with proficiency in Google Suite, Microsoft Office, and Kissflow, and must be fluent in both Swahili and English. The Coordinator role requires 3 to 5+ years of relevant experience including at least 2 years leading complex fraud investigations and proven staff management. The Senior Supervisor role requires 1 to 2+ years of relevant experience with hands-on fieldwork conducting investigations and gathering evidence.

Both roles demand strong analytical and problem-solving skills, high integrity, discretion, and willingness to travel extensively within Tanzania. One Acre Fund is a social enterprise founded in 2006 that equips smallholder farmers across nine African countries with farm supplies, training, credit, and services. The Tanzania programme, founded in 2013 and headquartered in Iringa with additional offices in Mbeya, Njombe, and Moshi, currently supports more than 100,000 farmers. The positions are based in Iringa with up to 40% domestic travel.

Contracts are fixed-term for 1 year with health insurance and paid time off included.
