Partnerships and Grants Manager

Right To Play is recruiting a Partnerships and Grants Manager to support the multi-country No Child on the Sidelines project. Reporting to the Senior Fund Manager, the post holder will build and sustain trusted, partnership-oriented relationships with local civil society organization sub-grantees, enabling program delivery while supporting reporting, compliance monitoring, and technical assistance. Day-to-day responsibilities include acting as the primary contact for CSO sub-grantees, coordinating onboarding and reporting obligations, supporting risk identification and mitigation, conducting virtual check-ins and periodic in-country visits where security allows, and reviewing financial and programmatic reports to support milestone-based disbursements. The manager will also identify technical assistance needs through capacity assessments, coordinate global technical support, and facilitate Communities of Practice, representing the program at forums and maintaining relationships with civil society networks, women-led and refugee-led organizations, governance bodies, and humanitarian coordination mechanisms.

Candidates need a post-secondary degree or equivalent and seven years' experience working with local CSOs in partnership management, capacity building, or organizational development in MENA, South Asia, or Africa, with proven localization and trust-based grantmaking skills. Experience in conflict-affected or fragile contexts, results-based reporting, donor compliance, and group learning across cultural and linguistic settings is required, as is fluency in English and French; Arabic or Urdu and expertise in education in emergencies, child protection, psychosocial support, or sport/play-based development are assets. Right To Play protects, educates, and empowers children through play in 13 countries. No Child on the Sidelines, with Global Citizen and the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund, is a four-year, $5-million Global Affairs Canada initiative expanding sport- and play-based education for ages three to 18, with nearly half of programmable funding flowing to local CSOs.

This full-time, one-year fixed-term national contract is based in approved countries and requires existing work authorization. Periodic travel and occasional out-of-hours calls are expected. Benefits include paid leave, competitive benefits, and five learning days; salary varies by country.
