Grants Management & Compliance Officer

Comprehensive Community Based Rehabilitation in Tanzania (CCBRT), a healthcare social enterprise and specialized health services provider, seeks a full-time Grants Management & Compliance Officer in Dar es Salaam. The post-holder will oversee CCBRT's active grant portfolio, ensuring that donor-funded projects are implemented in line with approved agreements, workplans, budgets and reporting requirements, and coordinating with Finance & Administration on grant financial management. Day-to-day work includes monitoring grant budgets, workplans, deliverables and compliance requirements, identifying risks, supporting audits and project close-out, maintaining proper documentation, tracking donor funding opportunities, and supporting resource mobilisation and portfolio development. The officer will also coordinate Project Coordinators and the Community Development Coordinator so that quality community data supports evidence generation, research and resource mobilisation.

Candidates should hold a Bachelor's Degree in Development Studies, Project Management, Business Administration, Public Health or a related field, with at least four to five years of experience in grant management, donor compliance or programme coordination within an NGO or development organisation. A Master's degree is an added advantage. Candidates must also bring experience managing institutional donor relationships, strong donor reporting and documentation skills, knowledge of NGO regulatory requirements including NGO Registrar obligations, proficiency in MS Office and project management tools, excellent written and spoken English and Kiswahili, and the ability to work independently, meet deadlines and manage multiple stakeholders. CCBRT aims to prevent lifelong disabilities and provides maternal and newborn healthcare, including obstetric fistula repairs, with its Maternity and Newborn Wing in Dar es Salaam serving as a referral centre for high-risk and emergency deliveries in the Eastern Zone.
