Day to day this means developing and maintaining demand forecasts aligned with project timelines, building supply chain strategies that support scalability, and coordinating cross-functional planning with project, engineering, and operations teams. The role leads procurement of local equipment and materials, selects and manages suppliers, negotiates contracts, prices, and delivery terms, and maintains purchasing records such as requests for proposal and vendor files. It also coordinates inbound and outbound shipments with freight providers, oversees transportation, warehousing, and distribution, manages customs clearance and international shipping documentation, and monitors inventory accuracy with warehouse teams. Additional duties include supplier evaluation and onboarding, KPI tracking on lead times and procurement cycle times, risk mitigation planning, and working with software teams to automate procurement and logistics workflows.

Candidates must have thorough knowledge of supply chain management and procurement procedures, proven analytical and problem solving skills, leadership ability, strong relationship management with vendors and staff, sound judgment, strict adherence to anti-bribery standards, and strong written and oral communication. The company also expects strong organisational skills, follow-up ability, self-motivation, and solid IT skills for presentation, analysis, and research.
