The Regional Sponsorship Coordinator provides strategic support and technical leadership to the region in implementing World Vision Sponsorship priorities, establishing and maintaining effective sponsorship business systems, operational procedures, data management, and field office capacity. The role coordinates regional-level sponsorship data analyses to inform strategic decisions and business process improvement, leads operational and performance review processes, and supports strategic engagement with technical teams including DME, safeguarding, education, health, gender, and micro-enterprise development to enable stronger programmatic and operational integration.

The position serves as a technical thought leader on sponsorship, supporting policy implementation, standards monitoring, and guidance development. It also promotes learning and knowledge management across national offices, guides innovation in sponsorship approaches, and leads business systems and operational capacity building in coordination with the Global Centre and WVIT teams, specifically focusing on Horizon HOPE, sponsorship indicators, and digital transformation initiatives. The role is based in Arusha, Tanzania, within the Eastern and Southern Africa region structure, and involves regular travel to field and national offices across the region. Candidates should hold a Bachelors or Masters degree in Social Sciences, Development Studies, Business Administration, or a related field, with at least 5 years of experience in sponsorship operations or development programming.

Strong analytical skills, proficiency in data analytics and business systems, and experience in capacity building and stakeholder engagement are essential. Preferred qualifications include experience with World Vision systems such as Horizon HOPE, knowledge of sponsorship operations indicators, and familiarity with the organizations Christian identity and values. The position is full-time with travel requirements as per World Vision standards for regional roles. Applications close on 6 August 2026.
