Pathfinder International is seeking a Driver and Administrative Assistant to support the effective implementation of programme activities in Zanzibar, United Republic of Tanzania. This full-time position will serve as an essential team member within the organisations field office operations, contributing to the smooth execution of programmatic work at the local level. The Driver and Administrative Assistant will be responsible for ensuring that all assigned vehicles are properly driven and maintained to the highest standards of safety and reliability. This includes performing routine vehicle checks, coordinating regular maintenance schedules, and ensuring that vehicles are prepared and available for programme activities as required.
In addition to primary driving duties, the role provides critical backup support to the Administration function within the field office, assisting with general administrative tasks as needed to maintain efficient office operations. The post holder will be expected to transport staff and materials to various locations across Zanzibar, responding flexibly to the operational demands of the programme. While specific minimum qualifications are not detailed in the posting, candidates are expected to hold relevant driving credentials and demonstrate prior experience operating vehicles in field settings, in addition to basic administrative capabilities.
