About this Role
UNICEF is seeking a National Consultant for a 12-month assignment to review the eMTCT Operational Plan III covering 2022 to 2025 and subsequently develop the eMTCT Operational Plan IV for 2026 to 2030. The consultant will assess progress toward set targets, identify implementation barriers and success factors, and examine coordination and integration of PMTCT services across national, regional, district, health facility, and community levels in Tanzania. The role involves facilitating the development of a comprehensive plan with targets and activities aimed at accelerating the elimination of vertical transmission of HIV, Syphilis, and Hepatitis B. Candidates must hold a Master's degree in Medicine, Nursing, Public Health, Social Science, or Global Health with over seven years of experience supporting RMNCAH and HIV programmes in Tanzania, including strong knowledge of Maternal and Child Health programming, epidemiology, statistics, Spectrum modeling, and programme planning, management, and monitoring and evaluation.
