Consultant, eMTCT Operational Plans III & IV Review

About this Role

UNICEF Tanzania is seeking a National Consultant to support the review of the eMTCT Operational Plan III (2022–2025) and the development of the eMTCT Operational Plan IV (2026–2030). The consultant will assess progress toward PMTCT targets, identify implementation barriers and successes, and review coordination across maternal health, HIV, TB, and STI programmes at national, regional, district, facility, and community levels. The role involves facilitating the development of the new operational plan aimed at accelerating the elimination of vertical transmission of HIV, Syphilis, and Hepatitis B. Candidates must hold a Master’s degree in Medicine, Nursing, Public Health, or Global Health with over seven years of experience supporting RMNCAH and HIV programmes in Tanzania. This is a three-month consultancy based in Dar es Salaam with remote work and travel.
