About this Role
UNICEF is seeking a national consultant to provide strategic guidance and technical leadership in developing the Global Fund Cycle 8 funding request for integrated HIV and TB programmes in Tanzania. The consultant will coordinate with the Ministry of Health, lead strategic prioritization, ensure technical coherence and quality assurance across the submission, and manage stakeholder engagement to produce a compliant, evidence-based grant application. Candidates must hold a Master's degree in public health, medicine, nursing, or a related field and bring at least 10 years of progressive public health experience in low- or middle-income settings. Strong working knowledge of Global Fund policies, grant lifecycle, and successful funding request development across GC6, GC7, and GC8 is essential. Proficiency in English and Kiswahili is required, alongside facilitation and technical writing skills. The 2.8-month assignment will be primarily remote with a field visit to Dar es Salaam.
