FHI 360 is recruiting a Regional Technical Officer, Strategic Information to lead monitoring and evaluation activities across assigned district councils in Morogoro, Iringa, Njombe, Ruvuma, Mtwara and Lindi. FHI 360 is a global nonprofit human development organisation, and this position sits within its Tanzania portfolio of HIV and TB service delivery and health system strengthening work supported by the U.S. Department of State. The post-holder reports to the Senior Regional Technical Officer, Strategic Information, with a matrix line to the Regional Manager.

Day to day, the officer provides technical leadership for strategic information and M&E within the assigned councils. Responsibilities include supporting data collection, management, analysis and reporting, monitoring performance indicators, generating routine and ad hoc reports, and conducting supportive supervision visits, data quality assessments and verification exercises. The officer also oversees project databases and digital health platforms such as CTC2, DHIS2 and DATIM, contributes to dashboards and data visualisation products, and mentors facility data clerks and health care providers. Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering, statistics, records management, environmental or public health, medicine, M&E, biostatistics, data science, artificial intelligence or a related field, with at least six years of experience implementing and managing M&E activities for TB, HIV and AIDS care and treatment programmes.

Demonstrated expertise in Power BI, Excel and Tableau, strong knowledge of Tanzania's health information management systems including DHIS2, and proficiency in using artificial intelligence tools for data analysis and workflow automation are required. A master's degree in a related field is an added advantage. The role is full-time and based in Iringa with travel of 10 to 25 per cent, and the annual basic salary range is TZS 52,000,000 to 65,000,000.
