Educate! is seeking a High Net Worth Fundraising Manager to build and scale its HNW philanthropy function as part of an ambitious drive toward $100M in revenue by 2035. Educate! is an East African youth employment organisation that introduces employment-focused subjects into secondary schools and delivers livelihood boot camps for out-of-school youth, with a focus on marginalised rural girls and young women.

The organisation has meaningfully impacted more than 500,000 youth across Uganda, Rwanda, Kenya, and Tanzania, and has become the largest youth employment and skills provider in East Africa. It is backed by major foundations including Imaginable Futures, Livelihood Impact Fund, Jack Dorsey's #startsmall, CIFF, Echidna Giving, and received a catalytic investment from philanthropist Mackenzie Scott in 2022. The role requires a builder who thrives in high-ambiguity environments and can lay the groundwork for a scalable, world-class HNW fundraising operation. Core responsibilities span five areas, each weighted at approximately 20 percent: network mapping and donor prospecting to identify and qualify HNW individuals, family offices, donor-advised fund advisors, and giving networks; relationship management infrastructure, including CRM systems and bespoke engagement frameworks; creation of HNW-facing collateral such as pitch decks, funding menus, and tailored briefings; design and coordination of cultivation events in key geographies including the West Coast US, New York, and London; and market intelligence to monitor the HNW philanthropy landscape and feed insights to the communications team.
