WWF Tanzania is recruiting a Head of People and Culture to lead human resources management for its country office in Dar es Salaam on a full-time, fixed-term contract. The position reports to the Country Director and supervises one People and Culture Officer. The role is responsible for delivering the People and Culture component of the Tanzania Country Office Strategic Plan.

The post holder will ensure that all personnel contracts are fair and compliant with both WWF policies and Tanzanian labour laws, manage recruitment, induction, performance appraisal, contract renewal and exit processes, and support training and capacity building for staff. Day-to-day responsibilities include maintaining accurate personnel data, communicating human resources matters to staff, applying behavioural and policy compliance standards, and responding to queries on HR policies, working conditions, performance management, and crisis management. The post holder also participates in annual remuneration reviews, develops and maintains a nationwide approach to compensation and benefits, analyses performance management outputs, implements improvement plans, and prepares HR data and reports for the Country Director. In addition, the role requires developing and implementing an Occupational Health and Safety Management System.
