Global Social and Behaviour Change Manager
About this role
MSI Reproductive Choices is recruiting a Global Social and Behaviour Change Manager to strengthen the design and delivery of SBC work across its global programmes. MSI is one of the world's leading providers of sexual and reproductive healthcare, with around 10,000 team members working in 36 countries, and it delivers contraception, safe abortion and post-abortion care through locally led, entrepreneurial teams. The post-holder will support the strategy and implementation of SBC best practice by providing technical assistance, both remotely and in person, on programme design and implementation. The role involves coordinating and documenting internal best practice while adapting external evidence and resources for use across the organisation.
Initially, the manager will support Gates-funded bilateral projects in Ethiopia and Nigeria as well as other donor-funded SBC programmes in Anglophone Africa and Asia. The position reports to the Senior Global SBC Manager and works closely with the global marketing team, regional teams and donor management teams. Candidates must have at least four years of experience designing and implementing SBC programming on sexual and reproductive health, gained in at least two different country contexts. They should be able to show at least two programme examples of applying human-centred design approaches, and must have experience translating qualitative and quantitative data into actionable insights that inform and evaluate SBC programming.
Proven ability to build buy-in among teams and stakeholders outside direct control, and experience facilitating training and other capacity-strengthening approaches, are also required. Fluent English is essential; French is desirable. The employer states that applicants must be unequivocally pro-choice and share MSI's mission, vision and values. This is a full-time role based in Tanzania.
MSI values open-mindedness, curiosity, resilience and a solutions-oriented mindset, and seeks self-motivated communicators comfortable working with diverse teams in an ambiguous setting. Applications close on 29 October 2026, and interested candidates should apply through MSI's recruitment portal.
