The Alliance for a Green Revolution in Africa (AGRA) is seeking a Delivery Officer for its Livestock and Fisheries Cluster in Dodoma, Tanzania. The Delivery Officer will contribute to accelerating the plan's delivery by operationalizing delivery tools, performance processes, and reporting routines that enable timely tracking of progress, identification of bottlenecks, and data-driven decision-making across the livestock and fisheries sector. Key responsibilities include embedding delivery systems and accountability mechanisms within the Livestock and Fisheries Cluster, facilitating the design and rollout of coordination frameworks that improve collaboration among ministries, local governments, private-sector actors, and development partners, and coordinating the development and updating of cluster workplans, implementation trajectories, and performance reports. The role ensures that delivery systems are institutionalized across implementing ministries, agencies, and private-sector actors, and that evidence-based problem-solving becomes integral to achieving productivity, value addition, and sustainability outcomes within Tanzania's livestock, dairy, poultry, and aquaculture systems. The ideal candidate will play a central role in driving the delivery of flagship programmes under the Agricultural Master Plan 2050, collaborating closely with focal persons in ministries, research institutions, local governments, and implementing agencies. The role requires strong coordination, stakeholder management, and communication skills, as well as familiarity with government coordination structures and agricultural transformation agendas.
