Cluster Finance and Administration Officer

World Vision Tanzania, part of a global partnership of 31,000 staff working in nearly 100 countries with 75 years of experience in development and humanitarian work, is seeking a Cluster Finance and Administration Officer to be based in Dodoma. The organisation focuses on helping the most vulnerable children overcome poverty and experience fullness of life, guided by its Christian faith. This is a full-time, fixed-term local employee position based in Dodoma with regular travel required to rural areas within the cluster, reporting to the World Vision Central Southern Office. The Officer will process all cluster disbursements within approved control systems and budgets, performing weekly data posting into Sun Systems while maintaining segregation of duties across the payment processing chain.

The role requires weekly allocation of balance sheet accounts including receivables, payables, partner accounts, and staff advances, and preparation of Project Financial Reports and donor reports for monthly budget monitoring. Contract management duties include coordinating vendor performance evaluations, facilitating contract determination for goods and services, ensuring payment terms and quality deliverables are met, and managing timely renewals or terminations. The Officer will also coordinate and consolidate project funding requests across ADP, PNS, and Grants in line with cash flows, and provide operational support including serving as focal point for accounts payable queries, onboarding new staff, and participating in capacity building. Required qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in accountancy or a related field with two to three years of relevant experience.

Preferred qualifications include ACCA or CPA certification, strong computer skills in Excel, Word, and Sun-systems software, demonstrated supervisory ability, and excellent communication skills in both English and Swahili.
