About this Role
UNICEF Tanzania seeks a national consultant to lead RapidPro implementation, the open-source platform for mobile-based applications used across U-Report, YOMA, and other digital health and social protection initiatives in Tanzania. The consultant will manage the RapidPro instance including flows, channels, and contacts and serve as the primary vendor relationship point providing technical leadership for deployment and managing credentials and permissions. The role requires advanced expertise in software development, data visualization, Linux systems, Python, and database management, plus fluency in English and Kiswahili. Key deliverables span eight quarters with quarterly progress reports, dashboards, and innovation advisory support for tech-for-development recommendations. 23-month consultancy contract.
