UNCDF is seeking an Individual Consultant to conduct a cost benefit analysis of e-cooking tax exemption and relief policies in Tanzania. The consultant will analyse the fiscal impacts, economic benefits, and development outcomes of proposed tax incentives for electric cooking solutions. Key deliverables include a comprehensive cost benefit assessment with policy recommendations for the government. The assignment spans 90 working days and the consultant will work remotely with periodic engagement with UNCDF and national stakeholders. This role supports UNCDF's broader mandate of mobilizing domestic resources and promoting innovative finance solutions in least developed countries. Candidates should have expertise in economic and financial analysis, with experience in tax policy or energy sector reform being advantageous.
