About this Role
UNICEF Tanzania is seeking a COMBI (Communication for Behavioural Impact) Training Facilitator for a 2-month consultancy to strengthen staff and partner capacity in designing, implementing, and monitoring Social and Behaviour Change interventions using the COMBI planning methodology. The consultant will provide technical leadership across five components: inception and training design, virtual pre-session preparation, in-country training delivery, an applied component, and post-training coaching and reporting. Candidates must hold a PhD in Public Health, Behavioural Sciences, Communication for Development, or a related field, with a minimum of 8-10 years of experience in SBC or Risk Communication and Community Engagement, including proven expertise in COMBI methodology and adult learning facilitation. Strong analytical and report writing skills, experience with UN agencies and government partners, and fluency in English are required, while Kiswahili proficiency is an added advantage. The position is based in Dar es Salaam with remote work elements and an international scope.
