About this Role

One Acre Fund Tanzania GYSI Lead will incorporate gender-responsive and socially inclusive approaches into smallholder farming programmes across Iringa, Njombe, Mbeya, and Songwe regions ensuring women, youth, and marginalized groups are meaningfully served. The position requires 5+ years gender or inclusion programming experience, a Bachelor degree in Social Science, fluency in Swahili and English, and strong Microsoft Office and Google Suite skills. This role addresses Tanzania agricultural gender gap where women do most farming labour but have least access to inputs, finance, and markets. Responsibilities include designing women-friendly products, leading youth strategies, conducting inclusion assessments, and reporting on GYSI integration. Fixed-term contract.
