The role sits within the Business Development Department's Resource Development team and will manage third-party regional grant and major donor acquisition and compliance to support VisionFund's financial inclusion activities. The position will develop and manage a funding opportunity pipeline, provide technical support to microfinance institutions, and ensure all donor obligations on technical and financial reporting are met. The advisor will oversee the complete RFP response process, including reviewing opportunities, vetting with MFI and regional leadership, and coordinating proposal development teams to ensure submissions meet technical specifications and deadlines.

Fluency in written and spoken English is essential, and French language skills are desirable.
A master's degree or professional qualification in grants management, accounting, or a relevant field would be an advantage. The role reports to the East Africa Regional RAM Director through a matrix reporting line and involves travel up to 30 percent of the time, including to fragile contexts and remote areas. Applications are encouraged to be submitted in English through the organisation's portal.
