FHI 360 is recruiting a Regional Technical Officer, Strategic Information to be based in Lindi, Tanzania, on a full time contract. The post-holder leads monitoring and evaluation work across assigned district councils in Morogoro, Iringa, Njombe, Ruvuma, Mtwara and Lindi regions, working under the technical guidance of the Senior Regional Technical Officer, Strategic Information, to align all M&E processes with the reporting standards of the U.S. Department of State, FHI 360 and the Government of Tanzania. Day to day, the officer supports data collection, management, analysis and reporting, strengthens health information systems, and conducts data quality assessments, verification and triangulation visits at project sites.

The role involves administering and troubleshooting platforms such as CTC2, DHIS2 Tracker, the Ministry of Health DHIS2, Unified Community Systems, DATIM, CTC Analytics, Jicheki ORA, eLMIS and eTL, and building dashboards and visualisation products for programme decision-making. The officer mentors data clerks, health care providers and facility staff, compiles weekly, monthly and quarterly reports, oversees data management equipment including computers, tablets and servers, and represents the project in data review and stakeholder meetings. Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree in computer science, statistics, biostatistics, data science, public health, M&E or a related field with at least six years of experience implementing and managing M&E for TB, HIV and AIDS care and treatment programmes. A master's degree is an added advantage.

Demonstrated expertise with Power BI, Excel, Tableau, DHIS2 administration, data security and privacy practices, and AI tools for analysis is required, alongside strong stakeholder engagement and reporting skills. The officer reports to the Senior Regional Technical Officer, Strategic Information, with matrix reporting to the Regional Manager, and travel is expected at 10 to 25 per cent of the time. The annual basic salary range is TZS 52,000,000 to 65,000,000.
