Jaza Energy is recruiting a Regional Dispatcher to own dispatch, transport and delivery performance for its solar battery network in Tanzania. Jaza builds solar-powered shops that charge batteries customers use to power their homes, and employs women from each community, known as Jaza Stars, to run the service. The post-holder owns daily and weekly dispatch planning aligned to outbound demand and deployment schedules, builds optimised vehicle loads, and assigns routes before dispatch windows open. They cluster deliveries by territory to maximise route density and cut cost per drop, and confirm capacity in advance so no vehicle departs without confirmed staging, documentation and system validation.

The role validates outbound documentation including delivery notes and serial records, enforces system-based dispatch execution, and captures real-time updates so dispatch plans, executed deliveries and recorded outcomes stay aligned. Fleet and driver management forms a second strand: daily driver and vehicle readiness checks, real-time GPS monitoring, and structured end-of-day debriefs with proof of delivery and exception closure. The Regional Dispatcher holds third-party logistics partners to the same standards, tracking SLA performance and escalating failures with supporting data. The role owns daily DIFOT tracking and reporting, separates transport-driven from upstream failures, and coordinates reverse logistics, validating returned inventory before warehouse handover.

Candidates need warehouse management experience, a degree or HND in supply chain, logistics, transport management, business administration or engineering, and two to four years in dispatch, transport coordination or last-mile logistics. A valid driving licence is required. Preferred strengths include hands-on use of dispatch platforms such as Loginext or Routific, spreadsheet proficiency, and experience managing 3PL networks and driver performance. The position is a contract role based in Morogoro or Kigoma, reporting to the Regional Coordinator, with regional travel implied.
