WWF Tanzania Country Office (TCO) is seeking a motivated and reliable Office Attendant to join the team on a fixed-term full-time basis. The position is based in Dar es Salaam and reports directly to the Head of Operations. Under the supervision of the Head of Operations, the Office Attendant will take responsibility for the general cleanliness and some administration functions of the Tanzania Country Office. The role ensures the office is kept clean internally and all surrounding areas of WWF Tanzania are maintained to a high standard.

Core duties include dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, and ensuring all restroom facilities are properly maintained. The incumbent will also be responsible for reporting any deficiencies or repair needs to management and performing minor adjustments and repairs as required. In addition to facilities management, the Office Attendant will provide administrative support by coordinating meeting room reservations, arranging refreshments and equipment for meetings and special events, and assisting with document distribution, photocopying, and binding. The role requires serving as a backup to the receptionist by answering queries, forwarding messages, and keeping staff informed of order statuses.

The incumbent will also be responsible for preparing tea and sourcing lunch for staff, maintaining kitchen inventory, and initiating purchase requests for kitchen, cleaning, and toiletries supplies. The ideal candidate must possess an Ordinary Level Certificate of Education and demonstrate excellent interpersonal relationships. Prior job-related experience and knowledge are required. Key competencies include strong planning and organisational skills, the ability to develop and maintain relationships at all levels within WWF and with external stakeholders, and the capacity to work effectively in a multicultural environment with minimal supervision.

Willingness to work beyond normal hours and perform cleaning and office errands is essential.
