Vital Strategies, an international public health organization operating in 73 countries, is seeking a Government Relations Advisor for Africa to support their expanding Lead Poisoning Prevention Program. The role facilitates regional exchange and coordinates high-level engagement and partnership building with government agencies across multiple African countries. Responsibilities include managing relationships with key government and program partners, supporting strategy development, ensuring program alignment with country priorities and global objectives, and providing representation at regional events. The ideal candidate will have experience in government engagement and partnership building within public health contexts, with the ability to work effectively across diverse cultural and political environments. The position is preferred to be based in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, on a full-time hybrid schedule, though qualified candidates from Ghana, Rwanda, or Tanzania will also be considered, contingent on legal work authorization.
