UNICEF is seeking a national consultant to provide technical assistance to Tanzania's Ministry of Health in developing the HIV Care and Treatment module for the Global Fund GC8 funding request covering the 2027-2029 implementation period. The consultant will be responsible for technical review and program analysis, strategic prioritization, quality assurance, stakeholder engagement, and inputs to the funding request development aligned with the National Strategic Framework for HIV, Syphilis, and Hepatitis B control. Candidates must hold an advanced university degree in healthcare, public health, health economics, social science, or a related field, with at least ten years of progressive experience in public health programming in low- and middle-income countries. The ideal candidate will possess demonstrated expertise with Global Fund policies and grant cycles, including experience developing successful funding requests for GC6 and GC7 with thorough knowledge of GC8 requirements. The consultancy is based in Tanzania with a remote working arrangement plus travel, lasting 2.8 months.
