National Consultant, Terminal Evaluation

UNDP Tanzania seeks a national consultant to conduct a terminal evaluation of one of its programmes operating in the United Republic of Tanzania. The consultant will be responsible for independently assessing the performance and results of the programme across standard evaluation criteria, delivering findings and recommendations in accordance with UNDP evaluation standards over a period of 30 working days. The assignment will follow the terms of reference referenced under UNDP-TZA-00391-2. Candidates must possess demonstrable expertise in programme evaluation, familiarity with United Nations evaluation norms, and experience working in Tanzania or the Eastern African region. Familiarity with gender equality and women's empowerment frameworks is desirable, as the tender explicitly incorporates sustainability considerations related to gender mainstreaming.
