Mapping Drone for NEMC, Tanzania
About this role
IUCN is seeking a supplier to provide one unit of a mapping drone to strengthen the National Environmental Management Council's enforcement capacity under the Bahari Yetu Project. The project is a four-year marine and coastal conservation initiative implemented in partnership with TNC, WCS, WWF, and FORUMCC across mainland Tanzania and Zanzibar. The successful drone must support real-time mapping and inspection of plastic litter in marine and estuarine ecosystems, enabling evidence-based policy development and improved environmental monitoring. Bidders must demonstrate relevant experience supplying similar unmanned aerial systems and provide post-delivery technical support. The procurement is open to qualified vendors and suppliers meeting IUCN's technical and registration requirements.
