UNDP is seeking a Programme Assistant for its Small Grants Programme (SGP) in Tanzania. The position is based in Dar es Salaam, United Republic of Tanzania, and forms part of UNDP's country programme framework that aligns with the sustainable development goals. The SGP is a global programme that provides financial and technical support directly to civil society organisations and community groups working on sustainable development priorities at the local level. The Programme Assistant works closely with the SGP national team and reports to the relevant programme coordinator within UNDP Tanzania. Candidates are expected to hold relevant academic qualifications and demonstrate professional experience in programme support, administration, or a related field. Familiarity with sustainable development issues, grant management processes, and stakeholder coordination is typically advantageous in such roles.
