Comprehensive Community Based Rehabilitation in Tanzania (CCBRT) is a healthcare social enterprise committed to providing accessible specialised health services across Africa while preventing lifelong disabilities wherever possible. The organisation runs extensive maternal and newborn healthcare activities, including obstetric fistula repairs, and its Maternity and Newborn Wing functions as a referral centre for high-risk and emergency deliveries in Dar es Salaam and the Eastern Zone of Tanzania. CCBRT is now seeking a creative and proactive Social Media Officer to manage the hospital's digital platforms and online engagement. The role involves creating and posting content that promotes hospital services, events, awareness campaigns, and public health education.

Key responsibilities include managing all CCBRT social media platforms, creating and publishing approved content such as photos, videos, posters, announcements, and health education materials, supporting live coverage of hospital events and activities, monitoring online engagement and responding to inquiries professionally, ensuring consistent branding and visibility across all digital platforms, and tracking performance metrics including reach, engagement, and follower growth. Candidates should hold a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication, Digital Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, Communications, or a related field, with a minimum of one to two years' experience in social media management or digital communication. Experience in a healthcare or NGO environment is an added advantage. Strong social media management skills, basic photography, videography, and graphic design skills, proficiency in Canva, Meta Business Suite, video editing applications, and Microsoft Office are required, alongside excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong interpersonal abilities, a high level of professionalism and confidentiality, and the capacity to handle sensitive healthcare content ethically.
