Zonal Senior Accountant

About this role

Plan International is seeking a Zonal Senior Accountant for Katavi, Tanzania to provide consistent internal controls, corporate system maintenance, and reliable financial information and analysis for the Zonal Area while ensuring donor compliance throughout project implementation, budgeting, and reporting cycles. The role manages budget management, financial reporting, partnership management, internal financial controls, audits, cost recovery, balance sheet management, and treasury/cashflow management, reporting directly to the Head of Finance and IT with a dotted line to the Program Implementation Area Manager. Candidates must hold a degree in Accounting or equivalent with CPA, ACCA, or CPAT certification, possess in-depth knowledge of nonprofit finance and accounting, and demonstrate analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills in an NGO environment.
