ICS SP is seeking an experienced consultant to conduct implementation research for the Violence Against Children in and around Schools (VACiS) project across Kenya and Tanzania from April 2026 to June 2027. The consultancy will generate evidence on the effectiveness of a multi-component violence prevention programme through both impact and process evaluations, employing mixed-methods approaches such as Difference-in-Differences designs. The research covers three discrete assignments covering gender-transformative parenting, the Whole School Approach, and organisational capacity building. Findings will inform donor reporting, national policy, and strategic partnerships with government and implementing partners. Consultants with expertise in violence prevention, child protection, and gender-transformative programming are invited to apply for one or more assignments, with proposals evaluated independently per assignment.
