About this role

HakiRasilimali seeks a passionate and strategic Executive Director to lead its work promoting transparency and accountability in Tanzania’s extractive industries. The Executive Director will provide overall strategic direction and leadership, overseeing programme implementation, stakeholder engagement, and organisational representation. Core responsibilities include driving the organisation’s advocacy agenda, building partnerships with civil society and government actors, and ensuring effective delivery of transparency initiatives across the extractive sector value chain. Candidates should possess substantial experience in civil society leadership, a strong understanding of extractive industries governance, and proven strategic planning and management capabilities. HakiRasilimali is a civil society organisation dedicated to improving transparency and accountability in Tanzania’s natural resource sector.
