Climate Change Consultant

About this Role

The Climate Change Consultant will strengthen the integration of Climate Change, Disaster Risks and Environmental Degradation into the UNICEF Tanzania Programme, supervised by the Chief of WASH and coordinating with the Deputy Representative and all section Chiefs. The Consultant will support development, management, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of the country's climate programmes, providing technical guidance and management support throughout the programming processes. This role matters for development and climate resilience as it directly shapes Tanzania's national climate and environment programme to achieve results for children and vulnerable communities.
