About this Role
The Literacy Facilitator will support Subject Advisors in coaching Grade 1 and 2 teachers in Zanzibar to deliver high-quality literacy instruction, improving foundational reading skills and reading habits for young children. Requirements include a university degree in Education with Language or Linguistics preferred, 2 to 3 years of experience, and proficiency in English and Kiswahili. Room to Read's program directly improves educational outcomes for the youngest learners in underserved communities across East Africa.
