About this Role
ICS SP is seeking a consultancy to conduct implementation research on the Violence Against Children in and around Schools (VACiS) project across Kenya and Tanzania, which aims to strengthen systems for scaling evidence-based violence prevention solutions from 2024 to 2027. The research will serve dual purposes: an impact evaluation to assess causal effects of interventions on violence prevention outcomes and a process evaluation examining programme fidelity and contextual implementation factors. With approximately 14 months of implementation remaining, the consultancy will generate evidence on priority areas to inform policy, strengthen government partnerships, and unlock continued donor funding. Three discrete research assignments are offered, which may be awarded to different consultants, focusing on gender-transformative approaches to violence prevention. Candidates with demonstrated expertise in implementation research, mixed methods evaluation designs, and violence prevention programming are invited to apply.
